Dont know if you like bbq food but theres a great one on the corner of the main road i will look up the name. Its right near ralphies ices.
Are you thinking about BBQ Bills? They closed last year and it is now Deep Water. BBQ Bills used to be good but the last year or so that they were opened the food was horrible. I guess thats why they closed.

I just went out there with DH and my kids for Mother's Day. I don't know if it's in walking distance, but Claudio's was an hour wait and we ended up at a restaurant nearby called the Rhumb Line. The food was really good and not expensive.

I am glad that Claudios for sale - the food is terrible there..great location but food sucks...hoping it sells and new owners offer better food.
OMG yes. Claudios food is disgusting and the restaurant itself is run down and dated looking.

A Lure for Seafood
They're not within walking distance from Front Street, but if you have a car, it's worth the few minutes drive...especially A Lure. Never had a bad meal there.

We went to Scrimshaw the one time we stayed in Greenport and loved it. The food was excellent. We walked there, and it wasn't far at all. However this was 6 years ago, so the food could be different.

I wanted to let you know- I went to Deep Water Bar and Grille last weekend. OMG! It was so good! The ribs were awesome! They are already cut up and piled on your plate. At first I was like WTH? Why is this just thrown on my plate but then realized how good and tender they were. You NEED to go!

I went here too. It was great. The best wings we ever had. My wrap was so good.

I definitely noticed a change in food and service in the last year. Can't wait to try Deep Water.
