Doctor today?
DD is 19 months and she started running a fever yesterday of 103. She is still running a fever today. My mom has strep throat and we were with her on Thursday right before she started feeling sick. Should I bring DD to an urgent care today or wait for the pediatrician to be open tomorrow?

Doctor today?
If Motrin or Tylenol is lowering the fever, I'd wait. If it's not, I'd bring her today.

I've been giving Motrin and it's bringing it down to 101 and then right back up to 103+

Might be strep. It's been going around. My nephew just went to urgent care on Saturday and he has strep. They said that was the 4th patient they had seen with it that day.

Try piggybacking Motrin and Tylenol. I have to do that with Dd bc she runs high fevers. The Motrin starts wearing off at 4 hrs but I can't give til 6 hrs so I give Tylenol and that will keep it down a bit but not all the way. Then at 6 hrs, more Motrin. I hope she feels better!!
