Wow that was fast
We just moved in last month..our next door neighbor is elderly and just put her house on the market last week. I'm working from home today and see a couple there with an inspector..one week!!
That is crazy. I can't believe she got an offer that fast.

we put an offer on a house before it hit a market. Our realtor heard about it and we went there that day.

Massapequa Park is a hot area now. I had a listing there earlier this year. It sold the first weekend it was on the market, for about 4 % over asking (there were several offers). It was priced right.
If houses are priced fairly (or in the ballpark), they are getting snapped up. Lots of ready and able buyers out there, looking for their house!

my co-worker just went into contract on a home in Massapequa (plainedge) today that was only on the market for 6 days before they put in their offer/it was accepted.
