Congrats to all the BFPs! woo hoo! QUICK QUESTION for you ladies....and it may be a bit TMI....ok, a LOT of info but opinions are appreciated.
I got a positive ovulation test on Tuesday morning. DH and I are away this week and staying in a beach house --his parents decided to stay here too, arriving tuesday afternoon and are in the bedroom next door. Let's just say that DH is not keen on BDing when his parents are around (we had this issue another time too grrrr!!). So, we were able to BD on Monday morning and Tuesday morning (before they arrived at the beach house). Again, I got a positive on Tuesday morning. I had ovulation cramps all day on tuesday (I get those) and sharp pain tuesday evening around 7pm (I assume, therefore, that's when I actually ovulated because I'm pretty sure I feel it as I get pains in my ovary when I walk, not even just cramps). We were unable to BD today (wednesday) and I'm sure DH is done for the week. I did an ovulation yes this evening, Wednesday, and it is still positive (I usually have 2 days or so of positives) but again, I'm pretty sure ovulation happened tuesday evening.
My question, after all that background, is this....if we BDed ONLY on monday and Tuesday morning do you think I still have a shot at getting pregnant or should I not get my hopes up. I REALLY was hoping that this would be a good month for us -- I had an HSG so thought maybe that would help etc. but right now I'm pretty bummed that it might all be for nothing and my stupid inlays ruined our chances this month, as they did for February. grrr. DH gets too nervous that they can hear us ...we were going to "try" this morning but he was freaking out so nada. LOL.

You def have a great chance! Any BDing within the week prior to O or day or so after O is all it takes! If I were to pick only two days to BD, those would be the two most optimal IMO assuming you Oed on Tuesday. Good luck!!

I agree!! Monday/Tuesday were the best days! You want the sperm to be waiting for your egg, and sperm can last for 3-5 days supposedly. So that seems perfect! Good luck!!!

Well yesterday the test was a lot lighter and today it's defiantly negative.. Going to get blood work today to see what's going on. Has anyone had a lot of chemical pregnancies? I don't understand the cause, and I've had so many..

I am so sorry. That really sucks.
I have had three losses- two were chemical pregnancies that happened just as you described. Tests got lighter, then negative, then I got AF a few days later. My doctor started tracking my blood hcg levels to see if they were decreasing, which they were.
My doctor tested me for some blood, hormone and genetic problems, but everything was normal. I think you should ask for some testing.
I went on to have a healthy pregnancy the cycle after my last chemical, I hope the same happens for you.

don't be too discouraged until you get your bloodwork results, but you really never know.. Keep us updated, and think positive :)

No AF yet (due yesterday) so I took a clear blue test today and got a very, very, very faint cross. It had a bluish tint, but my husband isn't convinced. iPeriod had my ovulation day as 5/21, but I noticed EWCM on 5/24, so I'm now thinking I ovulated a few days later than I thought, which means I'm only 12 DPO right now. I'm going to test again Sunday (assuming AF doesn't come) and will update.

Thanks, but after some googling, I see so much stuff about blue tests and false positives/evap lines, so now I'm psyching myself out. Wish I did more research before buying the tests, I had no idea there was such disparity between pink and blue. I thought they were all the same! Hope for good results on Sunday.
