Anyone recommend a large dog stake & tie-out?

It's going to take until August before we get our fence, & I might loose it soon with our pup roaming while we are out there. So we want something & then maybe use it in the front when we are out there.

She's a German shepherd, so needs to be strong
TIA!!!

I know you didnt ask and I am not sure where you live, but tie outs can be dangerous if your yard is not fenced, and random animals can corner your dog and your dog cannot get away, kwim?

That's an excellent point. I don't plan to leave her unattended. It's for when I'm outside with the kids playing, eating on the deck, etc. she likes to play, but has started to roam

We went to Home Depot and bought one of those large corkscrew ground anchors and a long heavy cable that has the clips on the ends to attach to the anchor and collar. Works like a charm.

ETA: he's about 50lbs and the anchor doesn't budge when he runs around or pulls at it.
