We are sending DD to Holy Trinity on Lincoln Ave. in September for the 3 year old program...we had our son there for a little while and liked the staff. You need to visit a couple to see which one fits your budget, schedule, philosophy etc.

My cousin in RVC sends her kids to Waldorf if you need Private but costly.

St. Marks Cooperative Nursery School. My son went there for their Mommy and me, 3's, and 4's and I loved it! It's a cooperative school so parental involvement is expected. They are located on Hempstead Ave in RVC. They are moving this month but only 1 block away (still on Hempstead).

I also remember visiting Jacob's Ladder pre-school and Trinity. There is another called Universal (or something like that) I think.

I send DDs to Holy Trinity. I love it for many reasons. As a teacher myself, I love the way that they teach routines, self-discipline, and academics through the use of art, music and nature. They have a long-standing Good reputation, and a wait list, too! DH went there as a baby lol
