REUNITED!!
Found Friday, 6/19 at 8pm
UN-Neutered Male Bichapoo or Cockapoo
Right front paw had shaved spot (about 3-4 weeks grown in) shows he had been to a vet recently.
He had no collar and his chip is not registered.
I went to 3 local vets, called police and Islip Animal Shelter. Nobody is looking for him. He is also posted all Local FB groups and Lost & Found Pet Groups. I also drove him around West islip, Bay Shore & West Babylon, looking for signs and asking residents if they knew him.
He is a very friendly and loving dog. Gets along with others dogs and seems to love laying on the couch getting belly rubs. He is 100% a family pet and not a long time stray.
I am currently in contact with a friend who rescues and places dogs and she is also searching for his family.

FOUND DOG in West islip

i saw this was posted on the li lost pets facebook page. such a cute dog. exactly the type of dog my family wants to get. hope he finds his home.

I have this guy posted everywhere. I can't believe he wasn't claimed. How someone would abandon him is beyond me. He is the sweetest little guy. He has spent 4 days with us and all he does is lay on the couch getting belly rubs.
He will be going to a foster family on Wednesday (I would keep him until he's adopted but i am pet sitting 2 dogs for a week and even though he's great with other dogs, they aren't mine to take any chance with) and that foster family may also be his adoptive family.
