Postpartum Supplies
I'm 35 weeks today with my first I'm wondering what postpartum supplies I should make sure to have on hand? I have already purchased overnight pads, underwear a size up and Epsom salt. Any other suggestions/tips?

Re: Postpartum Supplies
The hospital gave me cans of dermaplast spray to take home as well as some numbing cream that was great.
Also they give you the peri bottle for cleaning the area after you use the bathroom.
Other than that, maybe the tucks or preparation H wipes. They are soothing too

Postpartum Supplies
Motrin, stocked refrigerator, plenty of bottled water, tucks if your delivering vaginally, something to bind your belly if you're having a csection.

Definitely all of these. If your nursing or not, definitely get the breast pads i started leaking like crazy the day after we got home from the hospital.

Re: Postpartum Supplies
Wanted to add, if you are NOT breastfeeding, get some TIGHT sports bras. When your milk comes in it hurts like a mofo and the tight sports bra is great. I wore it 24/7. I even put ice packs in there and frozen cabbage leaves. I smelled like sauerkraut after awhile but it helped!

Re: Postpartum Supplies
You'll want different supplies if you have a vaginal vs a c-section. I think everything listed above is a good start, though I'd also add Tucks pads, too. And then you should just send your husband out once the baby is born for whatever else you need. My second came earlier than expected and I sent DH out for pads. It took him 30 minutes and a lot of phone calls for him to come home with what I wanted. But it gave me a good laugh!
