I was advised to purchase these since I have been testing like crazy every month ttc. 4 days ago (2 days prior to AF being due) I had a very slight line - like barely there. This morning (2 days after AF being due- but I am occasionally late) the same result - very faint barely there line. Is this normal for these tests that if you look closely you can see where the line would be just from urine touching it. I feel like 4 days later the line would normally be much more prominent if I was actually pregnant and hcg was doubling like it should- but I've never used these tests before- not sure ..

I used these when I was trying for DS. When I got a positive test, it was a faint line and it never really got darker on the dollar store tests. Finally I just used a First Response test and it was positive. I would try a digital if you're getting a positive test result. As I was told, "a line is a line is a line" lol. I wouldn't get too caught up on how dark the line is. GL!

I personally don't like them and always tested on FRER then followed up a couple days later with a digital.

You can get a super faint evaporation line on them but I think this is the case for most tests. A true positive will have color to it and won't be grey. When I got my super faint positive with the dollar tree test it was obvious to me that it was real because I actually saw color in it.

I recommend using a digital to confirm if you're unsure.
