Spotting question

I am 12w2d and had some red discharge today. It's the 4th time this has happened. It seems to happene every few days. It's not a lot and doesn't last. I had spotting with my DS but it would last a few days. This is either in my underwear or when I wipe and then its gone. I had a sono on wed and everything looked good with the baby. I emailed my doctor Tuesday night and told him about it and he said hydrate and get off my feet. Would you call the doctor about it again? I don't like that it keeps happening but it's not w lot so it's not making me totally panic. Any advice would be appreciated!

Spotting question

This has happened to me about 5 times now. It is always like, in the discharge and goes away after one wipe. (sorry for the TMI!) I was pretty nervous the first time, but had a sono shortly after it happened and everything was perfect. So weird, though...

Re: Spotting question

i had major bleeding at 11 weeks...they couldnt find out what the cause was, but the baby was fine....and now she's 13 months old!

i know its very concerning, call if you are bleeding/passing clots and cramping.

dont forget...there's a lot going on there..things are moving, getting bigger, etc.

Good Luck!!!

Re: Spotting question

Sorry for TMI, but this would happen after I DTD with DH, I ended up on pelvic rest till I was further along. I also had placenta previa which added to spotting. All was well, but it did always make me nervous too, but apparently was pretty normal.

Re: Spotting question

I had spotting early on during both of my pregnancies and I now have 2 very healthy children. That being said, my OB always wanted me to call in when I had any blood.

Spotting question

I had spotting early in this pregnancy as well. It was when I wiped lasted for a bit. I had a hematoma; scary but more common than not.

Spotting question

I would definitely call again. Better to have peace of mind than worry!

Re: Spotting question

Definitely put yourself on pelvic rest. Lots of resting and no sex. I had brown on and off around 8-10 weeks and followed strict orders to rest. Have not seen that since, thank God.
