Need Advice
I am 40 with 2 young children and for the past 6 months have been dating a 35 year old man who has no children. We have a great relationship and be adores my kids but I am feeling guilty that I will most likely not be able to give him children of his own due to my age. He says he wishes he could have a child with me but is willing to accept that it probably won't happen. I worry that he will decide to move on to someone else who can give him children.

How long have you been dating? To me, it sounds like he hasn't 100% committed to the idea of not having a child of his own. I think you need to talk about it more. You need to know that he is 100% ok with never having a child of his own - not that he is "willing to accept that it PROBABLY won't happen" - that's what makes it sound like he still has some hope that it WILL happen. Is it that you don't want to have anymore children or more of an age issue? If it is an age issue, and you try to have another child but it doesn't happen, will he be 100% ok with that? And what are your definitions of trying - conceive naturally, or trying different fertility treatments? If trying is something you are willing to do, I think you need to be on the same page with what that means. Sound to me like you have to have more discussions about the topic.
