Can I wear a statement neclace w/ a halter top?
So I have a high neck cobalt blue halter top...bought a turquoise statement necklace to wear w a black dress but think it looks kind of cute w the halter top. Is this look a no-no??
I feel kind of out of the current fashion loop lol! TIA!

In my pathetic uncool opinion, no because I feel like the necklines would compete
But I'm sure people do it all the time and it looks cute
So don't go by what other people think

I was thinking big earrings instead, just wanted to ask :) I didn't think about pairing them together but it looked actually cute. Kinda like this pic of Heidi. So I was considering it lol!

My original thought was no. But, if it looks like that pic you posted, then yes. I guess it works since it's a high neck halter.

I think it all totally depends on the cut and design of the top. I have seen many different variations on straps and necklines of what they call "halter tops". To me, a halter top is a tank where the straps tie behind your neck but apparently there are also other variations.
I would post a picture to get more accurate answers.

It's cute! The color really pops on the navy. Is there any way to make it a little longer? I think it looks better when the edge of the fabric lines up just right with the necklace- it almost makes it look like it's part of the top. But even if not, it definitely works IMO.
