Who is going to the Foo Fighters tonight??????
I am SO MOTHEREFFING EXCITED for this show!!!!!!
I've seen them a bunch of times, but this is the first time since I went through all of my treatments and this was the band I listened to throughout all of that stuff. They kept me up and inspired the fight daily. I have distinct memories of listening to them on repeat and feeling like Dave's voice was just kind of happy and silly in some songs and I would once again find happiness and silliness in my life at some point.
I haven't looked at the setlists at all. I am really, really, REALLY hoping to hear "Walk" because it was and continues to be my fighting song. I tear up when I listen to it no matter where I am, and I am hoping that I'll be able to scream those lyrics out tonight. If it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen.
I hope it does though. I would love to be surprised with it.

I just started work fifteen minutes ago and the day cannot end fast enough.

PearlJamChick - I have to laugh about your setlist spoiling comment.
My other favorite band had someone in the crowd that would scream out the next song while the lead singer was talking to the crowd. He stopped, pointed at the guy and screamed "Hey you. Do you want to come up here and do this? Do you think I've forgotten what comes next? Don't be a setlist spoiler!"
I want to be surprised at shows, but I just can't hold myself back and I look all the time. Then again I like to mentally prepare myself if something is going to be missing instead of being disappointed at the concert.

This day has been so looooooooong. Forty minutes to go til I can bust outta here and head to the show 
We have seats so I'm not worried about getting there early.

watching Dave get to live out his childhood dream was definitely awesome!
Great show as always. LOVE this band!

I'm incorporating a couple of lines from the song into my "eff you cancer I effing hate you suck my effing d!ck" tattoo...it means that much to me. I know, shocker, not a PJ song
That was fun. So much fun!!!! My neck hurts and my legs ache and my voice is all cracked and I'm exhausted as all hell. I love that feeling after an outdoor summer show!
Also, hey, friggin awesome that Citifield has veggie dogs. Wooo! Haha

Night 2 couldn't understand what to do when Taylor was trying to prove how far away the back seats were. Night 1 wins on that one.
Night 2 had Dear Rosemary

night 2 rocked!
they played all my favorites, and I clapped so much, my arms and back are killing me today. at one point, i took off all my jewelry and gave it to DH for safe-keeping because I was clapping so much!
so wish I could go to the boston shows! have an amazing time!!!!

Gotcha!! I was on the right side of the stage, we were singing and dancing all night. My back paid for it but worth it all.
Enjoy Boston!!
The sing back with Taylor was pretty damn amusing!

My ears were still ringing this morning and my whole body aches but it was soooo worth it!!
When they started playing Under Pressure, just before they started singing, these girls behind me started singing Ice Ice Baby. Then they were so confused. Hilarious.
Dave is just amazing. Even stuck in that throne, he just kills it.
I was hoping he would play our wedding song, Walking After You but I knew that was a long shot.

I told DH that Dave on a throne is still a better show then anyone else can put on.
He opened with our wedding song! (we had it transposed into a piano version for the first dance and it was incredible) We were both shocked that they were opening with that.
i love when he asked if anyone was seeing them for the first time, and half the crowd started cheering and he said "i'm mean we've only been doing this for 20 years, but all right!"
and when he introduced "big me" and said it's for old the old geezers like us. 
i've told DH time and time again that Dave is the only man I would leave him for.

I went last night and had the best time. I nearly lost it when they played a Dear Rosemary...one of my all time favorite songs!
