Oh god. I'm sorry for your loss. I have been obsessing over this story for days. It's horrific and to know these additional details... My heart breaks even more if that is even possible. Sick! My prayers go out to that family.
I am an but by the pool. Terrifies me!

This little boy is family to my husband. They are from NJ. They were there celebrating his 3rd birthday. I don't think any of us had much sleep last night. We all know from here that planning a Disney trips is a full time job and we all some way or another want to make it a little be more magical for our kids. What they thought would be a Magical trip turn out to be the worst nightmare of their lives.
Please have this family in your prayers. Services will be held this weekend in Manhattan and we were all told to wear white as that is the life he led.
Wow how incredibly tragic. So sorry for your family's loss.

What a tragic sad loss. So sorry.
We stayed at Arts of Animation and the main pool is massive. There are not many life vests in the small sizes. DH and I were watching our kids but it is very easy to lose sight for a few minutes.
