Buying new mattress
DH and I are looking to upgrade from our queen bed to a king bed. Our entire bedroom needs a make-over, but that's not happening right now. We need a mattress, box spring and frame (we will eventually get a new bedroom set with a headboard etc).
Any suggestions on where to look for best deal? Is this something that goes on sale for Labor Day? Brand suggestions?
Not looking to break the bank (b/c we can't afford it...), but we don't want to get a crappy one that is uncomfortable or not going to last either.
TIA!!

Buying new mattress
Great sales during labor day, if you can wait. We have a Kluft from Bloomingdale's. It wasn't cheap but we got a great deal on it during a Labor day same (i think $3-$4k) and their warranty and customer service is unparalleled. Our old mattress had a dip in it after five years and they took it back and gave us a new and more expensive mattress for free. No worries at all. Because of a promtion they had, we also received a $250 store credit and an extended ten year warranty on the new mattress for free.
