Do painters move furniture?
We're having our living room painted and have a fair amount of furniture in the room. I didn't ask about moving it when I got the quote. Is moving some of the heavier pieces typical for them?

I would say no, you should have everything moved to the middle of the room and covered.

Do painters move furniture?
Even moving to the middle of the room may not be ideal.. they may request having the room empty.. better off to protect your belongings from the paint anyway.
