Kenwal in Melville. Choice activities, the older the child the more. Hoices, variety of activities without being too much, homey feel, owner is very hands on.

The camps at Hofstra. My son is really into computers and they are one of the only computer programming camps I can find. They also cost like a million dollars, and are not within our budget.

Have you looked into Culture Play in East Meadow? http://www.cultureplay.org/ They have summer camps, but they also have classes during school breaks.
