new fitness club near Roosevelt Mall
I'm confused by the new building that's going up near Roosevelt Mall/Lowe's. It looks like a giant complex (including a parking deck!), but there's an LA Fitness right around the corner. What's so special about the new place that they think they need a parking deck?

If it's Lifetime Fitness, then it will definitely need a parking garage. It's the sickest club ever. Indoor/outdoor pools, water slides, spa, leagues, sports, camps, etc. it's insane. It's not just a gym. I think I heard one was being built there.

This is pasted from an email I got I had to look into this club for clients at work:
only have pricing information for the Syosset location. The pricing for the Garden City location will not be announced until probably mid-August.
In order to be under a couple membership, you have to either be married, share a mortgage or joint banking account. You also have to live under the same residential address.
In order to be under a family membership, it can be a qualified couple (applied above) and their children. Once the children are 21 or older, they have to be under their own membership plan. Children under 12 years old would be under a Fun Play membership which is a separate cost from the Family plan.
• Single Membership: $159 per month
• Single Membership (Under 30 years old) : $119 per month
• Couple Membership: $239 per month
• Family Membership: $319 per month
Your children would each enroll under a Fun Play Membership (Children under 12) at a rate of $30 per month per child. The Fun Play Membership will provide you with 2 hours of child care each day and also give you family access to the aquatics center and sports amenities. Our child care center is filled with many age appropriate games and activities. I am confident your children will love it! ?
Promotions will vary throughout the year. The standard initial investment is $369 per person
