DS (5.5 years old) was in summer day camp though school district this year ... it was a regular group ... no mainstreaming etc. He is ADHD...

A few times i had to pick him up early because of rough play, hitting a camp counselor etc. Was told program has a lot of free play time which is when my son gets into trouble. He just started meds in June so it has been a challenge. They almost told me he could not come back. They then were able to provide an aide to "coach /work with him." I am not sure if they can do this next year so I need an alternate plan ... if he is in similar situation next year.

Does anyone know of programs that are more structured for the summer? I am in South Western Nassau. He does not have other special needs.
