isagenix- 30 day weight loss plan versus the shake and clease pak
Hi everyone,
Looking to get this for my husband... he doesn't stick to ANYTHING and I am super frustrated with him...
on that note, which one should I purchase for him? Is he able to achieve similar results with either product ? I am afraid to do the 30 day as I feel he would get tired of the program after a few weeks. The Shake and Cleanse seemed to have more flexibility.
Any help is appreciated.
thx!

They are pretty different different, and you def cannot achieve the same results with the shake/cleanse pack as you can w/ the 30 day
The 30 day, is just that, everything you need for 2 shakes a day, pluse two 'deep cleanses' (4 days total) for 30 days - Plus the snacks for the deep clenase days, as well as some supplements.
The shake and cleanse pack is 2 deep cleanses (4 days total) and the equivalent of 14 days of 2 shakes / day. - but that's it.
Honestly, I LOVE the program and have been using the products for well over a year - BUT, if you're not going to follow the plan, it's a complete waste of money.
It's also a huge commitment and lifestyle change and if your husband isn't going to stick to it - OR, get through 2 weeks or even 30 days and just go back to his regular eating habits - it's a waste.
It's 2 shakes a day, yes - BUT you are also eating clean, no white flours, breads, no sugar, no alcohol - IMO it's really one of those things you have the WANT. It works 150% if you stick to it - for me, personally it works b/c it takes the work, prep, and thinking out of 2 meals a day. I find it easy to follow. Most people don't like to 'drink their food' ........KWIM?
ETA - I stuck to it religiously for my first 30 days ........and then sparingly added back in the alcohol - I'll eat a burger, have a beer, have a piece of cake etc. It's not like I'm NEVER ingesting those things ever again .......but it's in extreme moderation

Thank you so much for the in depth response! I really really hope something/anything sticks for him because i am getting a bit worried that even though he is 35 pounds overweight, this could very well increase in the coming months/years. I just want a healthy husband and its strange with him seeing how fanatical i am with my own body/diet, that he wouldnt just take the lead. Cross your fingers he has an 'awakening' moment soon!

Is he eating what you're eating? Does he have a 'thing' - or is he eating like hell during the day at work, and then eating one healthy meal at home with you It's hard. This will absolutely work, and it was great for me b/c I'm working FT in the city and have two kids and a husband and a house blah blah - for me, it was the convenience, but it's not neuro science you know? You're just drinking those two meals so it's a no brainer and I like the convenience b/c I'm a 'lazy' eater ........I LOVE all of the good for you stuff, but I don't like to prep and cook (and my husband and boys won't eat it so I end up having to cook different for myself which is just a pain, and I don't have the time) Good Luck to him !! (and you!)

This!
I want to add that my husband and I did it together. We did back to back strict 30 days - in 60 days he lost 40 pounds and I lost 12 and two pant sizes.
My husband will openly admit that he would have never been successful if it wasn't for me cooking and prepping all our foods.
The plan is amazing, but you truly get out of it what you put into it.
Can you do it together?

To be honest, I feel like he doesn't eat enough... he doesn't eat breakfast, has some sort of protein wrap for lunch with lemon juice/ olive oil, for dinner, he typically grills a burger with a slice of cheese, fish etc. One thing that he is though is a huge snacker!! but I don't buy snacks for the house, so it is limited to fruits- bananas, strawberries, blueberries etc
We are guilty of eating out- maybe 3 times a week :/ Im due any day now so I have been a lit lazy in the cooking department. He does have an issue with portion control. If he orders pasta, he will eat the whole bowl. I on the other hand, only eat an appetizer and am satisfied.
One thing that does scare me is that his sister is morbidly obese- like 350 pounds... can't run, bend down, has to sit at the end of a table etc, so I am of course, very scared that he can develop even worse habits.
In fact, his mother came to my house for a small BBQ and brought TWO ICE CREAM CAKES- TWO!!!! and proceeded to tell me they were healthy because they consisted of dairy!!!! She is another one in not so great health.
I was so annoyed, I sent one back with her to take back because I know my husband will eat it behind my back.
Anyway, I am going to order the 30 day- spoke to him this morning and he said he thinks he can do it. I want and am trying my best to be as supportive as possible...
do you know a rep who sells this btw? I saw that I could order online but would rather for someone to receive the credit instead.

Those results are amazing !! I would be in heaven if he even lost just 10 pounds- anything to put him in the healthy zone for himself and our children.
I would totally do it with him except my normal weight is 110- although I am pregnant (due any day now) and have gained 28 pounds. I am very much into working out so maybe I can entice him to join me once I give birth- this way he can feel like I am not annoying him:)
Anyway, are you able to recommend a rep?? I plan on purchasing the 30 day this week for him.
My fear is that since I am due any day, he will resort to eating crap while I am in the hospital for 3-4 days.... I'd rather have the shakes here for him so that he doesn't get tempted.

I know a few people who are doing this and they look amazing.
I have heard the plan costs minimum $600 a month though.
I don't spend that on groceries and CAN'T afford to spend that period.
Is this true that it costs that much?

No - the first time I did it I ordered a full 30 day package w/ one additional item. I think I paid close to $500 w/ shipping. After that initial 30 day I maintain with an average of 2 shakes a day, and 2 cleanses so it costs me about $200 - $250 a month. But that is breakfast and lunch almost every day. Especially being in the city - I am saving a ton when you consider the lay out each day - Plus, no coffee, no snacking - no buying additional crap. My only 'extra' expense at work is an occassional iced green tea.

isagenix- 30 day weight loss plan versus the shake and clease pak
just FYI...does he have high blood pressure or history of migraines? i do and i did the shakes for 1 day and it sent me to the hospital. i had a HORRIBLE migraine for 9 straight hours and thought i was going to die. by the time my mom dragged me to the hospital my BP was 166/109. there was something in the ingredients that triggered a migraine and caused my BP to go up.
apparently its common to get headaches, nausea and chills on the first day. they consider it detox. i got all that for 9 hours and wanted to die.
i know people have had success with the product, but just beware. i had to spend more money returning the product and hospital co-pay than i paid for the first month.

My aunts and cousins are on this. My aunt lost 13 lbs in a month and my cousin 10 lbs. I did go on a sales call with the rep my cousin got them through, but it was just too expensive for me, even for the "cheaper" plan.
