07 bride here and still happily married. We have 1DD and another on the way. I know of two friends in real life that got divorced. One was a bit of a surprise, the other not so much. They got married after me though.

'13 bride. Still married with a 4 month old and a new cat.
I think some people get caught up in having a wedding rather than a marriage. Not pointing to anyone on LIW, I just see this with some of my girl friends who aren't so happy.

I cant agree with this statement more. I know of at LEAST one couple who got married for a wedding, not for a marriage and now they arent in a very good place. Its very sad..

2006 Bride, 5 year old twins and still loving life together! 
It is sad though bc 3 of DH's good friends who all got married after us are all divorced and on second marriages.

I know a couple of people who were married only a little while before me and are now divorced. I knew from the start the marriages wouldn't last...
In both situations, they had issues before they were even married. The men are who they are, one was unfaithful, another was into drugs on and off, irresponsible with money, etc. I think both women felt like they were at a time in their life where they "should" be married because they are of age and that's what some of their friends are doing. And they probably fooled themselves into thinking "Well things will change once we're married".
Yes people CAN change - but most of the time, they don't.

I got married in 07 and I feel like I know a LOT of people from 06/07 who are divorced. But then again, I don't really *know* them... in real life I know of only one separation.

I was an 08 bride on there... Left EXDH in 2011. Re-married in 2015. I had already moved off LI, so didn't use LIW this time around.

I was supposed to be an '09 bride, wedding got cancelled 11 days before though. But I can't believe the amount of '09-'10 girls who are already divorced. Very sad.
I am an 09' bride and in the process of getting divorced. While it is not how I thought my life would have played out I am anything but sad about it.

I was a 2010 bride. Still happily married with one DD and a DS on the way.
My sister was on LIW in 2005. She's still married with 3 kids.
