Recs for someone to refinish hardwoods
We took up carpet to expose hardwoods and now I regret it. I thought the floors were in decent condition and could wait a few months before we refinished them. They are awful. I'm not even 100% sure we can save them. I need someone who can come out and refinish them quickly. The guys we used last time are booked until Nov.

I hate the guys I ended up with but they were able to get to me quicker than someone else I really wanted since I needed my floors done asap. The one I wanted to use was John's Hardwood Flooring- they did the floors at Jericho terrace. I don't know anyone who has personally used them but he seemed great on the phone, even when I had to explain to him I choose someone else due to my rushed schedule. Check out their website.

Recs for someone to refinish hardwoods
We used Empire flooring (not the same as the carpet empire). They were the least expensive and could do work the quickest. We had work done 5 years ago and have since moved. If we ever redo the wood floors in our new house, we'll definitely use them again!
