PLL... anyone?
I know I'm not the only grown adult who watched A's reveal the other night!
That being said, what did you think?
I personally have mixed feeling about it. Not sure if I loved it or hated it.

I watched, was going to start a thread today if no one else did.
I have mixed feelings too. I sort of hate they jumped on the transgender bandwagon because I do not feel this issue should be 'trendy' and they made her a psycho to boot.
But no matter what there was going to be fallout. It was dragged on way too long so whoever they chose was going to be a letdown for some. But we still don't know who killed Allie's mom. I am looking forward to when it returns.

I didn't like it. So many holes. What happened to the moms??? Why wasn't it an hour and a half or longer to explain more? I am all for transgenders by it seems so now, like it was the in thing to do. And the incest part is gross. How did she get a gender surgery? They give those out for free in radley?
It seemed to stupid to me. But I do like the 5 years in the future thing minus Spencer's horrific bangs.

From what I read, they wrote the whole TG story even before Bruce Jenner came out as Caitlyn. Like 4 years ago.

Did they leave the moms stuck in the basement? I can't remember if they got out.
I didn't like the reveal show. It felt like they were trying to suddenly wrap it up too quickly. But I still didn't get it all - maybe they were leaving some things unanswered for the new show.

I agree with PPs. It was too rushed. Too many timeline holes (there is a flashback scene to a teenaged Ali & Toby talking to Toby's mom. Ali is a few years younger than Charles so she would have been a toddler when Bethany pushed Toby's mom according to the last episode). Did the moms sober up and notice the window behind them and escape the basement? What about when Ali and Cece punked Radley and Jessica freaked out on them, wouldn't Radley know who Cece was? Also they gave a NOBODY on the show - Sarah Harvey - both Red Coat and Black Widow??!? What the hell were they thinking? Melissa or Jenna would have been better.
I loved this show seasons 1-4 and have been tolerating it ever since. I am definitely out of their demographic but the suspense and storylines (most of them) were too good to miss. I'm glad they finally revealed A but it was kinda disappointing the way they did it. They promoted it to be a summer of answers but it was really only 40 minutes and a few half assed answers. Fans came up with better theories.
I'm looking forward to 6B and the time jump and do hope that Marlene and the writers seriously consider the backlash from the finale and fix the holes in the story.
