Can we talk Botox
Has anyone done it? I have horrible lines between my eyes and on my forehead that I want to try botox. Any help would be great!
Thanks

Re: Can we talk Botox
If you already have deep lines that are there when your not frowning you will probably need a filler like Juvaderm Botox is more for preventing the face from making the expressions so the lines don't get formed.

I think this depends, I have heard that botox can make lines go away once you stop the making expressions that cause the skin to crease. I would consult with a dermatologist or plastic surgeon and see what they recommend.

I've been doing it for about a year and the creases DO get better over time with Botox. Some docs will still tell you to add a filler there, and some do not recommend filler there at all. Apparently that can be a delicate/dangerous area to get filler. Technically Botox relaxes "active" wrinkles while filler will, well, "fill" in wrinkles at rest. But overtime Botox will improve lines already etched in your forehead because it prevents you from making the expressions that exacerbate them. Maybe not completely eliminate them, but it will improve.
The short answer - DO IT!

Re: Can we talk Botox
I'm 40 and just started using Botox this past July. It pretty much eliminated my wrinkles (forehead/11s and crows feet).
I did filler, but not on my forehead. My next appt for my injectibles is in October.
As others have stated, speak with a Derm/plastic surgeon for their opinion on whether you need a filler in conjunction with Botox.

I wanted to add... I got it done today on my forehead. Actually, it wasn't Botox, it's called Xeomin. It's the same thing as Botox, just made by a different drug company. It's actually slightly cheaper than Botox brand.

I got it on the glabellar lines /11's, and horizontal fine lines on forehead. It was pretty painless. It takes about 14 days for full results. Very excited for my wrinkles to go away!

Can we talk Botox
I get Botox for the lines on my forehead and between my eyes. I am 39 and have been doing it for a year. I am so, so happy I did it. I no longer look angry and tired all the time, even if I am angry and tired, which is often. I love it!!

Re: Can we talk Botox
I've done Botox for the past several years. My husband works for doctors and it's one of the perks I get
One thing I have learned...start off with a little. Less is more. The first time I did it, I was game for anything and I think it was too much. Now when I go, I tell him just enough to help things out a little. I'd rather have a few small wrinkles left than look ridiculous.
