Need lawn company (not mowing, etc) to SAFELY rid me of my weeds!

Anyone use a SAFE but EFFECTIVE company (organic, maybe?)? I don't want to put a lot of chemicals down...but my lawn is getting to be a mess. I also think I have a soil issue because a lot of the lawn is dying out. Would love to get a company in that actually tests soil, etc.

We use Scotts service, we do their organic program so I still have a few weeds but everything is green. It looks much better!

We pay per treatment, they recommend what they think we say yes or no. They do it and we get a bill. My property is small so we pay about $60 per treatment. In the fall they aerate and seed, that is more.
I have a lot of pets that eat grass so I don't let them use anything but organic stuff.

My DH does organic treatments to out lawn using aeration and an organic compost tea treatment that he makes. The compost tea is what really helps the dying grass. He put it on our dying rose bush and it came back. He also put it around our magnolia tree and it flowered for a second time in the season. Sometime he does it for people but it's very important to keep up with the treatment and you can not use any chemical fertilizers or it won't work...
