Really good hair dresser--Suffolk South Shore?
I need a REALLY GOOD hair dresser. I need someone that can assess my hair and give me a cut that suits my hair type...and that I can do. I am not good at doing my hair at all. So I just grow in long and wear various versions of buns and pony tails. But I am too old for that look for everyday. And sick of it. If they are a good colorist too, that would be a bonus but not a requirement. I don't usually color my hair but have been thinking about it.
Prefer Suffolk, south shore. TIA!

I love, love, love JP at Self Image in Amityville (did I say LOVE!). I've been going to her for probably 7-8 years for cuts and started getting my highlights with her about 5 years ago. I also really like that salon - it's nice without having that "snobbish" feel to it - I hate going to salons where I feel like I have to get all made up before I get there.

Jill from vanity square salon in sayville. She is amazing. Knows the latest and greatest. She has an instagram to see some of her work. It's jilldoeshair.

I also go to Self Image. I love & adore JP!!!! I have short hair and she always does an amazing job!!!!
