How long after you started Clomid did you experience side effects?
I took my first dose of Clomid last night, so approximately 15 hours ago, and I haven't had any side effects.
I know it's early and I still have to take it for four more nights, just wondering at what point I can relax about potential side effects.

How long after you started Clomid did you experience side effects?
my first dose I took at 10pm and woke up about 7 hours later with the worst migraine of my life. So for me the side effects happened very fast. I was taking the 5mg ones so not even a high dose. good luck! dont look for side effects just take it day by day

How long after you started Clomid did you experience side effects?
Never. I did 7 rounds of clomid, always 50 mg. The very first time I took it, I had a little headache. That was it. I really don't have any complaints about clomid, hence why I gave it 7 tries.

my only side effects was feeling a lot of ovulation pains..or a lot of twitching and cramping in that area I guess while the follicles were growing.
other than that..I didnt have anything crazy.

I didn't have any side effects. I did 3 rounds of it. GL

I had twinges quite a bit, some hot flashes, and maybe a headache or two. I can't remember how long after though...

First time, nothing.
Second time, I got a terrible migraine (like, can't-get-out-of-bed-or-look-at-light-migraine) on the last (5th) day.
After that, I moved onto injectables.

First time, I had hot flashes after 3 or 4 days of the medication. I didn't even realize that that's what was happening though - it was late November and freezing out I was sitting very comfortably in a drafty room with no heat on. DH walked in and was like, "HOW are you just sitting here?" lol.
Second time, I had headaches after the 2nd or 3rd day. Not horrible; similar to the headaches I get during my period. Advil took care of them fine.
Third time, I had headaches and massive mood swings the whole time. I was a miserable, raging beast.
Fourth time, from Day 2 through Day 10 (it didn't produce a follie so they had me take a second round) I was crying, angry, and just downright miserable. Like PMS x 100. I seriously don't know how I got out of bed those days. I'm not trying to worry you - I'm just giving you a heads up that Clomid can really mess with your mind. For me, knowing that it was the medication and that I was not actually going insane helped me through it.
So yeah... I didn't have the best reaction to Clomid but I did get pregnant 3 out of those 4 times, so it was worth it.
