Good morning!

Anyone know of where I can donate toys? I have a HUGE Box.
Pickup is preferred.

Please let me know.
Thanks!

Toys Donation

I always donate our toys to big brothers big sisters. I schedule a pickup online and leave the boxes out at the door a half hour before they are scheduled to combine the mornings.

Re: Toys Donation

Oh darn, I don't know about pick-up but the United States Marine Corps does their annual Toys for Tots drive every year... and drop-off boxes are going to start to pop up VERY soon alllllll over the place - supermarkets, government buildings, post offices, etc.

So, I always wait and donate to Toys for Tots. The USMC - and I might be partial because my heart belongs to a Marine - but they are the best of the best (shhh don't tell every man in my family who served in the Navy that LOL) but yeah, I always donate to this charity each year. LOVE them.

Ooh - I searched and found their website where you can look up a drop-off site:

I found this! Lookup a Drop-off Site:

If you donate to Big Brothers....they sell the stuff to Savers and then Savers sells it in their stores. I would donate to a place like Pronto in Brentwood, or the library, etc.

Im not sure why it doesn't mention that on the website. I have a family member who works for them and she told me to schedule a pick up because they do accept toys. So when I first did it I called for the pick up and they said they do accept toys and I've been donating to them ever since.

Re: Toys Donation

Can you donate to the children's unit of a local hospital? I don't know the specific guild lines, but I'm assuming they would take gently used toys for the children.
