Is it too early to test? UPDATE...
I triggered with Ovidrel 2 weeks ago on Sept 29th with bank to back IUIs on Sept 30th and Oct 1st. My beta isn't until Thurs but the 2 week wait is killing me. Do you think it's too early to test at home? Would the hcg from the trigger still be in my system?
Took the hpt test yesterday- got a faint bfp.
Had my 1st beta today and it was 18.4
This is a very low number so the RE said to be optimistic but cautious b/c of my history of a miscarriage last Jan and 2 chemicals in the spring & summer.
Has anyone else had a low beta and go on to have a healthy pregnancy?

thats the same day I triggered with HCG shot and it was out of my system by last week. (I Think friday the 9th).
I had tested on cheapie tests sporadically after the trigger and by then the tests were negative.
you should be able to test now.

well Im in the same hell u are right now.
I tested 4 BFP between monday & tuesday. So I called RMA b/c i was supposed to go in today for first beta, but im iN DC. BEfore we left for DC yesterday they took me in and called to say its a 26. which is low. But I also figured since it was technically a day early then they were going to test me originally.
I took another test today and its still faint. So im ******* terrified right now. I have to go back saturday for another beta on my way home from DC.
I know plenty of people that have had lower than 18, and 26 go on for healthy pregnancies, so Im going to have to hold onto that for now.
