If I have a slow cooker, do I need a Dutch oven?
Just wondering- I love the look of them  and it seems fun to throw everything in one pot, but I already have a slow cooker and it seems like the recipes are similar. We would definitely use the slow cooker for camping but we do that once a year so I am not sure that's worth it unless I would use it at home too.

We have both and use both frequently. We do a lot of one pot meals in the Dutch Oven and they come out great. Sauce comes out excellent in the Dutch Oven too!

I have both, and love the Dutch oven. Soups, sauces, meatballs, pot roast, etc are great in the Dutch oven, as you can go from stovetop right into oven.

I guess it depends on if you want to use your stove stop/oven or electrical outlet for slow cooking.
I personally like having the crock pot out of the way and am comfortable leaving the house with it on.

This. I LOVE my Dutch Oven, I use it for literally everything. It's my "go-to" pot for most recipes. I love my Crock-Pot too but I couldn't live without my Dutch Oven.

I have both, but I use my Dutch oven all the time. Very rarely do I use my slow cooker.

Thanks everyone! I use my slow cooker once a week usually and while I haven't missed having a Dutch oven I think I am going to get one because they seem really versatile.
