ISO good homemade soup recipes

ISO good homemade soup recipes
I made skinnytaste chicken pot pie soup this week and it was delish!

Turkey meatball, spinach , carrots, Tortellini soup (skinnytaste)
Lentil soup --sautéed garlic, onion on oil then throw in carrots and celery for 8 mins then add two boxes of chicken stock, half a bag of lentils, 1 cup of tomatoe sauce, add some water if you want more liquid , season salt and pepper and Italian seasoning. Put lid on half way and cook for 1 1/2 hours. Eat alone or over small pasta.

rachael ray has some good 30 minute ones.
i also like tortilla soup, its like canned tomatoes and chicken broth mixed with black beans, corn, shredded chicken... and then some avocado, cheddar cheese, and lime at the end. its yummy.
i also make vegetable noodle soup. chicken or vegetable broth with a ton of veggies, like every kind known to man, i throw in carrots, potatoes, parsnips, turnips, bok choy, kale, lima beans, broccoli, string beans. Throw some herbs and spices. and then any pasta. I like egg noodles but I've also used elbow pasta and the squiggly kinds of noodles, etc. delicious and easy.
broccoli-cheddar is good, this forum has a bunch of good ones if you search back

Just made autumn acorn squash soup from the eaglebrand website, delish! I used butternut squash.

I love the Skinnytaste Beef Barley soup. It's sooo good. My only modification is that I brown the beef and then take it out of the pot before I add the vegetables. I sautee them separately, and then I add a splash of white wine to deglaze the pot before adding the beef back in and the rest of the ingredients. You need to be home for a block of time to make this as it simmers for a couple of hours, but it's delicious!
