I'm sorry to admit that I am a lurker....DH and I are contemplating TTC (it doesn't seem like there will be a "good" time to have a baby in the next 4 yesr so....). I find all your info and support for each other so helpful and I can't wait to officially join you.

My name is Gaylle and I am a lurker
I started looking because we are planning to TTC next year (next June) and I am in the gathering stage. I learned SO much from you all! And though my DH is a doctor, he has now learned a TON too!
Since I started lurking, I am exitedly following you girls!

i'm also a lurker - i've posted a few times though. I won't be ttc for a few years, but i like reading the posts for the news, as well as the information - i was completely clueless about a lot of this stuff before going on this board!

an IUI is inter-uterine-insemination...basically when you are ready to ovulate the use a catheter to insert DH's sperm into your uterus...then things go "naturally" from there.
IVF is in-vitro-fertilization...after you take meds to develop the eggs, they remove the mature eggs or follicles...fertilize them with DH's sperm and reinsert them into the uterus.

"WW" is part of "2ww" - which is the 2 week wait (the amount of time between ovulating and when AF is due.

Total lurker who has posted occasionally when someone gets a BFP. I have no idea if my husband and I will ever have children as we are still talking about it - and we are no where near ready for children now anyway. We may not be ready to try until I'm at least 35 - and I'm 31 now.
I like to gather info, and I have learned so much from all of you. I keep all of you in my thoughts and only wish the best for everyone. I get happy when I see someone graduate on to the next stage.
