Refinishing Floors - share your pictures
We are ready to refinish our hardwood floors.
We are thinking provincial, special walnut or dark walnut with a satin finish. Can you share your floor pics with stain color used? ITA

This is Early American w/ satin finish. When I first walked into my house after they were finished, I literally said Holy Shit! It looks gorgeous in person.
I was going to go with Provincial and ended up changing at the last minute.

IMO try not to go too dark. My friend has very dark colored wood floors and now regrets it because every little speck of dust shows and she finds herself vacuuming or using the swiffer constantly.

We chose Special Walnut and love how they came out. Everyone compliments us on the stain - it is a nice medium brown.

Refinishing Floors - share your pictures
i used Dark Walnut and LOVE it! It really brings out the grain. I only did my entryway...i had a closet removed so I needed to make the floors look uniform. eventually I will do all my floors in dark walnut.

We went with a provincial mix, I did not want uniform color.
