Any idea of what we can send?
We just found out someone close to us had a very late term miscarriage. We are all heartbroken. She lives out of state and we want to send her something to let her know we are thinking of her and her husband. Any ideas?

A friend of mine lost twins late. I sent a cookie bouquet in the shape of flowers and she really liked it. Didn't want to send actual flowers

Previous ideas are good. I wanted to add that a card on the due date is also nice.
ETA: I mean a thinking of you card.

That's awful.
Depending on the person, some sort of memorial stone to put in their yard might be nice (I say depending on the person, because I can see some people loving this and being so touched, and other people hating this)

I was thinking something similar. Something commemorstive with the baby's name. A plant with a little personalized angel to hang on it, a piece of jewelry, a figurine. Something to recognize her as a mom.

Are they religious? Padre Pio is the patron saint of the unborn. A medal of him or a small statue for their garden would be nice.

Re: Any idea of what we can send?
When I lost my son the best gift I received was a tree (a sapling) with an angel ornament on it. I don't know where she got it from, but I have the angel hanging in my room and the tree in my yard.

I got pillows made for my dds when they were born from an amazing etsy seller. She does memorial pillows too. I can find her shop if that's a thought.

Omg this breaks my heart. An edible arrangement/cookie basket..I think anything just to show you're thinking of them would be a nice gesture.

That's just it. I want to send something so she knows we're thinking of them, but she's not religious and I most certainly don't want to send something too personal (personal is not the right word) and make things more difficult for them.

In that case, maybe a restaurant gc for some take out and a nice card. I'm sure she's in no shape to cook both physically and mentally.

I'm sticking with my cookie bouquet suggestion. And it's also from personal experience sending it to a friend

That's a good idea. I think I'm going to put together a basket with a bunch of comfort items and a gift card or 2 to local restaurants for them. Thank you!
