Maimondes or NYU Langone
I have to take DS to a pediatric rheumatologist. He has offices in Maimondes and NYU Langone.
Regarding traveling and parking, which location is easier to get to from Levittown if I was driving?

Maimondes or NYU Langone
I would think the office in Maimondes would be easier.
The traffic and parking around NYU is a nightmare.

parking around Maimondes is no bargain either. My grandma's nursing home was right across and it was always a ***** to park over there.

I feel like NYU is better; you shoot through the tunnel and you're right there. They have a lot downstairs from the main hospital, plus some of the lots around there will give you discounts if you get the ticket validated (if you're not going to the main hospital).

Absolutely, NYU is literally 3 blocks from the tunnel. IMO, it's also a much better hospital.

NYU without a doubt. when hubby was there following brain surgery, I actually took the train to Penn and walked. Not an short walk, but certainly doable, good exercise and a welcome break. Driving in was super easy as well.

Re: Maimondes or NYU Langone
My grandparents' local hospital is Maimonides, and it's a pia to get to, and whenever they've been hospitalized, the closest spot I've ever gotten is 5 blocks away. I don't love that hospital, though I should have an affinity for it, as it's where I was born!

Re: Maimondes or NYU Langone
NYU. They have tons of parking garages in walking distance. I delivered DS there. Very easy to get to from LI.

Maimondes or NYU Langone
NYU is an amazing hospital. I delivered my DD there and had surgery there years ago. I live in Brooklyn no and my hospital is Maimo. My FIL had heart surgery and it is one of the top hospitals in the country for cardiac issues. But don't count it being easy to find parking there. Its terrible.

Re: Maimondes or NYU Langone
Distance wise you may be closer to Maimo but Brooklyn, IMO, is worse than manhattan traffic wise and driving around. That being said, Maimo isn't that far from parkways which helps. From BQE you get on the prospect expressway for only a couple exits then drive a few more minutes. Maimo has valet parking for $10 cash only at the main entrance. It can be a cluster there though with traffic and cars piling up waiting for the valet. Street parking is tough and the only garage nearby always has a "full" sign.
NYU is probably a more direct route since it's so close to the midtown tunnel but you'll pay way more for parking garages there.
