I'm going crazy for babywearing! Does anyone babywear or planning to? I want to buy a million wraps and ring slings and I still have 16 weeks until baby arrives.

I'm obsessed with baby wearing.. I was able to get so much done while my dd was sound asleep on my chest.. now that we are expecting #2 I can only imagine it being 100 times more convenient

Re: Babywearing
I bought and returned over 8 baby carriers (Ka'Taan, Mei Tai, Ergo, Moby, Baby Bjorn, etc.) By far, the best is the Tula. The downfall is that you cannot buy the Tula in stores -- you can only order it online -- and its fairly expensive BUT it is so incredibly comfortable for both myself and the baby.

I'm really looking forward to baby wearing! DH and I have trips and plans next summer and it will be so much easier. I think it's also easier to just throw him in a baby carrier when I need to run out to the store since I walk everywhere. I never heard of this Babywearing group but will look to join!

Re: Babywearing
I wore DD1 with my Ergo a lot. There's a CVS down the block from my house, so I would take her for quick walks there often when I needed something. I also wore her ALL the time for grocery shopping, as well as to big outings - Mets game, Bronx Zoo. I wore her most often when it was just the two of us - when DH is with us she usually goes in the stroller. I definitely intend to wear DD2 in my Ergo as well, especially since DD1 will be just over 2 years old and I'm constantly chasing her around.

I tried the baby wearing thing. I found the stroller to be much easier and better on my back. I also rather put the baby down when we are at home so he doesn't get so used to me holding him. My daughter loved being in her bouncy seat and swing when she was very small, so I am going to skip baby wearing all together this time.

I just added a lenny lamb ring sling and woven wrap to my Christmas list. I bought a k'tan from a local mom then registered for the ergo and Boba wrap. I'm trying them all! lol
