Coffee
So I'm about two minutes pregnant.
Last pregnancy, coffee grossed me out so it was a non-issue.
I know I can drink it - i just forget how much is okay?

I usually read under 200mg of caffeine. How much caffeine is in a cup really depends on where you're getting your coffee, as many drinks at Starbucks far exceed that. My OB says no coffee.

I didn't have any my first pregnancy either.
My second pregnancy I had terrible headaches and 1 cup a day is what got me through, mostly decaf, though. Also, remember that decaf still has small amounts of caffeine, so try that if you prefer. 200mg/day (or less). Starbucks tall coffee has 175mg, so that would be your entire allotment per day. Dunkin has fewer.

I read 200 mg a day also. My OB said a cup of coffee a day is fine, but just be reasonable about it. Everything in moderation. Also keep in mind other things- like soda and chocolate- have caffeine, too.

My Dr wanted me to have one cup a day... he wanted me to have soemthign with caffeine each day as it acts as a diuretic and I have kidney stones which can really act up during pregnanty.
He said one cup a day- a small coffee or a cup of tea etc

i'm 5.5 weeks and i'm still drinking a small coffee everyday. I opt for decaf usually, but today I just needed a reg coffee!

I usually have a half a cup in the morning, then sometimes I have a cup of tea in the afternoon, once in a blue another cup of coffee, but usually Tea which I think has more caffeine
