Should have known...Bellini (LONG!)
After my last HORRIBLE experience with Bellini - they delivered my furniture at 10:45PM on a Wednesday night - we should have known better than to order Bellini again for this baby. But I was feeling lazy, already knew what I liked and their quality is decent, and so we went to Bellini a few months ago and ordered a crib and dresser. We paid IN FULL (because MIL paid) and said we needed delivery by November.
I got a call in October asking if they could deliver the next day and I had to say no since that was not enough notice and I work. Anyway - no one calls me for the first half of November, so I call and ask when they will be delivering - I am told November 20th. I told them my horrible situation with the first delivery and they assured me they are under new management and that would never happen again. However, they refused to give me any sort of delivery window at all but I was told I would probably be first. The day before I was supposed to get delivery they call and say I am going to be the last stop and they don't know what time, but they would call in the morning with a better update. So I reiterate to the warehouse guy how horrible my experience was last time and they assured me that will NOT happen.
So November 20th comes along and I get a call at 9AM and the guy tells me - I messed up, we don't have your dresser and so we can't deliver today. I took a day off of work for this delivery. They promised to call the following week (last week) with a new delivery date. Got no call - but it was a short week. DH and I called Bellini on Friday and they promised a call ASAP from the warehouse on Friday. Nothing...
DH called again this morning - they promised a call ASAP to schedule a delivery (remember we wanted this delivery by November - today is the last day of November!!!) - nothing by 2, so DH calls again. They promised a call by 4pm. It is now 3:20 and still no call yet.
I guess the saying - "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me" really applies here. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. They clearly don't care about their customers - why should they - we paid for this furniture in FULL over 2 months ago. They have their money, so why rush to get me my delivery?

I'm ready to call them and just say give me my money back - I'll go to a store that actually gives a crap about it's customers. No wonder half their stores closed. They do HORRIBLE business.

Wow! That's AWFUL! I feel like if it were me, I'd want to post formal complaints on the company and tell them that if I don't receive it today, I want a full refund since the original agreement was NOVEMBER. That's ridiculous.

I hate Bellini! Once they had our money they couldn't care less about us. Dd1s furniture came from there and we had issues with damages and I had to stalk them until they finally did anything.
Dd2s is Bassett baby from buy buy baby and not only was it half the price, we had damaged pieces that were replaced the same week!

Another Bellini customer that can't stand them. Got DD's furniture there and this past winter the few local, LI stores closed. It was a s$it show trying to get the conversion kit over the summer. We wanted to use her crib mattress for DS. Needless to say, never again.

Re: Should have known...Bellini (LONG!)
Sorry you're going through this. It would be great if you could just ask for your money back and they would do it. They likely won't though. I also bought Bellini against my better judgement. It was the only set I found in the color I wanted so I caved. Worst decision ever! They lied to my face about the cost of delivering my furniture, and then when my DDs chest broke they lied to my face again about replacing it and danced around in circles until their store closed. I still have a broken toy chest!!! And... my hutch and changing table are no longer anchored to the dresser because the wood started to split! So I'm calling BS to their "exceptional quality" standards they proudly abide by.
