What do you pay and/or what does she do?

Does she bring her own supplies? Or use yours?

And how often does she come?

It's ok if u don't feel comfy sharing cost, but any other info helps :)

If you have a cleaning lady ..

100$ every 2 weeks. I have a 3 br hi ranch 2 kitchens.
She uses my supplies. She doesn't clean my office, windows, or laundry but that was my choice.
She does what I consider a thorough cleaning (floors, wash my leather couch, scrubs the bathroom) and each time she is here she will add something different. (Ie my fridge)

We pay $100 every two weeks for a 4bedroom 3bath 2000sqft colonial

She is AWESOME, she does all the normal stuff (fridge every visit, sheets, floors, etc) and then every visit a project, she has organized our walk in closet, drawers, kids closets etc. She is the best money we spend all month lol

She does not do my laundry, I don't want that

These posts are making me think I need a new cleaning lady because mine hardly does any of these things!

If you have a cleaning lady ..

We pay $80 every 2 weeks for a 3br/3ba colonial.

She does the normal stuff and changes our sheets (at the time we hired her, we only had one kid and he was still in a crib).

She's there 2-3 hrs depending on the day. 2x a year she will do a deeper cleaning.

Edit: she cleans all rooms. Dusts. Floors. Bathrooms. Changes bedroom sheets (not cribs). She's here from 8am-130/2pm

I pay $60 - I have a 2 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom townhouse. She mops all the floors on the main level (hardwood) and she vacuums the area rugs on that level -- and she pulls those up to mop. She vacuums the entire stairwell and upstairs (wall-to-wall carpet). She cleans the entire kitchen top to bottom, wipes everything down, even cleans out the toaster oven. She wipes down all the furniture, wipes all the windows, straightens everything --- dusting, the normal stuff. Makes my bed and straightens up - same with my son's room, his crib, sheets, toys, etc. Everything neat. She does both the full and half bath top to bottom. Scrubs the toilets, sinks, shower, tub, etc. It comes out sparkling. It is wonderful. I have the option to pay more to have her do laundry and sheets and stuff but I don't need her to wash and dry and all that - I do that myself every three days.

She has a vacuum but I also have one. She has some mops and brooms but the actual chemical cleaning products - no, those are mine. I buy bulk at Costco and she will just leave out the empty bottle every once in a while when I run out for next time, to pick one up.

And how often does she come?

She comes every other Friday, so twice a month. And it's $60, like I mentioned above, each time she comes.


She is fantastic - my sister, mom, and I each use her and have been using her for about a year now after my last cleaning lady moved away. She was referred by a neighbor/friend. HTH!

$100 every week... I supply everything and she does any extras i need (fridge,basement, fold laundry etc). She is pretty good but since i am a neat freak, i always find something that could be cleaned more thoroughly.

She uses my supplies and does what a cleaning person should (dust, vacuum, mop, kitchen, bathroom) and goes above and beyond (looks in dryer and folds stuff, cleans fridge, organizes my DD room).

I sometimes ask her to do ceiling fans and dust on walls if I notice she hasn't gotten to I.

We have 3 br/2 bath 1000 sq ft ranch and pay 80 week. They use mostly our supplies but some of theirs.

It's 2 sisters--they clean the whole house-change sheets, wash them, if laundry in dryer will fold for me, windows are cleaned weekly, vacuum, dust, clean under couches, wash and put away dishes, clean kitchen, pretty much everything.

It's 2 women and they bring everything, cleaning supplies, towels, vacuum, everything.

They clean the basics - floors, counters, furniture, etc. though if I have something that needs special attention, I let them know.

Wow. I have a 2 bedroom 1 bath 1000sf ranch & my lady charges $120 every other week AND does a bad job ( as in forgets to clean stuff).

I need to hire one of your ladies!

She comes once a month and makes a deep cleaning, does laundry and if I want, she can also cook for the same price. I pay her $120. The only thing is that she doesn't drive and depending where u are, u might need to pick her up and drop her off. But sometimes she can also take the bus. She's worked for all my sisters for a long time, that's how I know her, let me know if u'd like her info.
