Re: when will it stop
Everyone is different but I've heard 8 weeks is when it's really at its peak. For my first pregnancy, it was completely gone by 10-11 weeks. With this one, it lasted longer and wasn't completely gone until 16-17 weeks. But I will say it started to get better around 10-11 weeks, it just wasn't totally gone yet. Hang in there, I know it sucks!

Re: when will it stop
Everyone is different, but with my DS it didn't stop until somewhere after 15 weeks. I needed Zofran to get me through...I ended up in the ER and needed fluids twice because I couldn't keep anything down for days (not even a sip of water).
BUT as crappy as that sounds, my OB always told me that morning sickness is your body reacting to the elevated hormone levels, so it's actually a great thing. Means its a nice strong pregnancy.

Re: when will it stop
It totally depends...mine always lessened by about 14 weeks, but with my 2nd and 3rd pregnancies, it never went away...I was pretty much always nauseous.

With my first pregnancy it went away at 15 weeks. This time I'm 21 weeks and I'm still nauseous although it has subsided some.

Re: when will it stop
Morning sickness is no joke. I didn't have it much at all with #1. In fact, I remember it was just kind of random. I would get a little queasy every single day at 5pm and then within that hour it would pass. With this one, I had it much worse. It was every day all day from 6wk-12wk. I could barely eat a thing. It was such a relief when it finally ended. 6 weeks is a LONG time to deal with that. Who knows when yours will pass. Some people it's earlier, some people it's later. Is there nothing at all that soothes your stomach? Ginger ale did help me so I sipped that when I needed to. Sometimes just chewing mint gum helped.

I felt like crap the ENTIRE first trimester. To prevent nausea I ate bagels NON STOP! That's all that helped. I'm still trying to burn off the bagel weight I gained.

Yup- bagels were the ONLY thing that helped. Saltines, too. I barely ate anything else and actually lost weight in the beginning.
I began to feel better by 13/14 weeks.

I had to take Diclegis this pregnancy. I was still queasy on it but it definitely took the edge off!

I started getting better at 14 weeks (2 weeks ago) but I still have some queasiness, and vomiting. From week 6 until 13, I was vomiting 2x or sometimes even 3x - ice cold seltzer helped for a bit, and then after then the bubbles made me sick. Then I swapped to tepid water, which helped me ALOT.. I would sip 2 to 3 cups would be feel much better.

Have you thought of probiotics. Read up on tummy tune up. It's a probiotic that has helped with morning sickness. As always check with your doctor first!! Feel better

I'm 20w1d. I was gagging this morning. I'd been good for a few weeks... but the occasional bouts of nausea and dry heaving still happens.
Its worse now because I end up wetting myself ...

Re: when will it stop
Mine lasted until 16-18 weeks. Carbs were my ONLY friend during that time. It was all I could get (and keep) down. I'm currently 35 weeks tomorrow...and the nausea is BACK in the AM

I hope your observation went well. I'm also a teacher and told my supervisor way earlier than I would have liked just bc I wanted him to be aware bc I was so sick.
