I would think the metal tins would work well. I've also seen some holiday tupperware type containers that you could use and put a nice ribbon on.

Dollar store Christmas containers with a paper doiley at the bottoms. Or cellophane

I would make peppermint trays! Then wrap it all in cello. I did them for a cookie swap the other day, and they came out super cute!! I also made them last year, and they were a huge hit.

Here is a link, hers look kind of sloppy (I just googled really fast). I usually take a pizza cutter to mine while still hot to even out the edges. Also use parchment, not wax paper

My daughter helped, she unwrapped the starlight mints. I got the mints at Dollar Tree (Target didn't carry them). For the small batches of cookies, I did rows of 5 across and 6 down for each tray.
