Estrogen Patches
Hi Everyone,
I'm so lost and thought some of you might be able to help. I'm supposed to prime with estrogen patches this cycle. I can't find my notes on what to do and I don't want to call the nurse....again. Of course the directions the NP put on the prescription says: Use as directed by your doctor. Thanks a heap.
I know I have to monitor my ovulation- what day of my cycle do I start monitoring? Day 9? Today is Day 7. Once I determine when I'm ovulating, when do I start the patch? Is it ten days after? I know I'm supposed to change the patch every other day (I only found that out because I asked the NP if I change it every day......they're not so forthcoming when it comes to informing patients and I find that frustrating. That's all I know....I don't even know how long I'm supposed to be on it...until I run out? 
I will definitely call the nurse at some point but I'd rather wait until I have a list of other questions so I don't call several times a day. Some insight would be greatly appreciated.
