Soup to make with ham bone- NOT split pea

Any ideas. I like split pea but am kind of tired of it and need to be in the mood for it. Thinking maybe a white bean soup of some kind? Any good recipes?

I don't have a recipe but my MIL makes a delicious lentil soup using ham.

I sautee some onions and celery, until soft (in olive oil) then add the ham bone, season with salt and pepper. I deglaze with about 1-2 Tbsp. sherry. Then, I add a bag of dry white beans/navy beans, some thyme and low sodium organic chicken broth and water. Simmer for 3 hours or until beans are soft.

You can make this with mixed beans, too and sometimes I sautee fennel with the celery and onions if I have it. such a good warm comfort food kind of soup.
