Depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a convirtable crib that will grow with them, I would go with Behrs. I loved a lot of their pieces. I ended up going with Bellini because of the color i wanted but the quality wasn't great and the customer service was terrible. Wouldn't use them again. My girlfriend just got her crib from PBK and it seems pretty sturdy.

I loved my ikea crib. Very good quality, clean cut design & practically disposable price. Converts to toddler bed.
My first child, I bought an $$$ munire crib. IKEA one held up just as well. I will spend the $ on child furniture when they are bigger & use for longer (crib is 3 years max).

If you go to Behr's, just be prepared that it make take as long as 20 weeks for your furniture to arrive. They told us 8-12 weeks and didn't arrive until my son was 3 weeks old and we ordered it when I was 23 weeks I believe.
I've had friends get their cribs from BRU and BBB and they haven't had any issues. All convertible cribs as well.

My DD set was from Bellini and I love it! Def a bit pricey tho. My parents bought the crib and other family members pitched in for the dresser

I bought from Babies r Us and the furniture came the next day. I went with the Jenny Lind set and it was super simple to set up as well.

Spoiled Rotten in Woodbury. The brand is Natart. It takes forever to come in and was outrageously expensive but it was important to us that the furniture not be made in Asia, which was VERY difficult to find.

Has Bellini been bad lately? My DD is almost 4 and I got her set from Bellini and love it. I bought from the Huntington store and had no issues. I know they closed now. Is the Manhasset one open and is that the store people are having issues with?

yeah i think Cacarina made the post. She had a bad experience with DD1 and this time as well i believe.

If I could give any advice as a 2nd time mom to be. Buy a crib, and then invest in a good dresser & nightstand.
I wish I bought the crib, and bought the Restoration Hardware dresser & nightstand I am now buying for DD's new big girl room. I went with a pretty expensive Munire set, and the dresser is all nicked up already. My future son will be getting her old stuff, and then I will get him quality stuff when he outgrows the baby stuff.
