Recommendations for a B&B or Hotel with fireplace and tub?
I'm hung up on this people! I need to go on a cozy and romantic 1-2 night vacation with my husband. My hopes: not too far (3-4 hours max), soaking tub/jacuzzi and a fireplace! Also, byB&B I mean cottage.
Any recommendations? We've been to Lamplight Inn and loved it. Wanted a change.

I know nothing about this place but always see commercials for Cove Haven and if looks like there are hot tubs in the rooms not sure about fireplaces though

Woolverton Inn in New Hope, PA would be my first choice if you can afford it. It's amazing, but a bit pricey.
DH and I are going to Stowe, VT this month and staying at the Green Mountain Inn. Its an old Inn with suites that have fireplaces and Jacuzzi's in the rooms.

You guys would love Cliffside Inn in Newport if you loved Woolverton as much as we did!!!
There was one entire day where it was unseasonably chilly outside so we decided to just stay in the room, put the fireplace on (gas) and take a tub. We stayed in the tub and just talked and soaked for like three hours. It was THE BEST. I cannot wait to go back. We didn't want to leave the room, that is how nice it was! It took a freaking crane to get us out of that tub to go to dinner. If we weren't starving we wouldn't have left the room at all
You should google it and try it!!

Another spot i love is Woodloch... There is so much to do in terms of activities.

We have been there twice -- the first time we stayed in the Carriage House.
The second time, we stayed in the Tower Suite.
They are actually located right next to each other on the property. The carriage house is the old "garage" where they kept the horse carriage many moons ago. Next to that, attached on just one side to the main building, is the entrance for the Tower Suite.
Both are gorgeous -- the Tower Suite is larger than the Carriage House but by no means is the Carriage House small.
The tub in both are pretty much the same -- same with the bathroom. Both have a separate two person tub and a separate glass enclosed, really nice shower.
The room itself in the Tower Suite is larger and has that second story.
I recommend both -- IMO they are the best suites at the Inn.
The breakfast each morning was superb. The innkeepers are SO nice. They recommended great restaurants... Stoneacre Pantry and Bouchard. Both were excellent. It is RIGHT on the cliff walk. You can just walk down the steps behind the Inn and you are on the cliff walk -- that was amazing.
Beds very comfy - fireplaces in both rooms were beautiful and gave off great warmth.

Buttermilk Falls Inn and Spa is amazing. There are a lot of different room/apartment/cottage options.

You should check it out! Beautiful grounds, a lot more private than Woolverton and the location is extremely close to town. There is also a restaurant down the street also called Bowmans (maybe the owners of the hotel own that too) and it is sooo good! Service, food and staff were all great!

Another one that comes to mind would be Springwater bed and breakfast in Saratoga Springs... That one is one of my faves.

First that comes to mind hands down in Woolverton. In fact we really want to get back there soon! I've heard nice things about Bowmans too but didn't hear anything first hand so glad to hear you liked it. Woolverton is so cozy, relaxing, romantic. Our fav places to eat around there is Marsha Browns and The Station
