Name Question
We are trying to decide between 2 names:
Gabrielle Reese Or Olivia Reese
We love both but Gabrielle Reese is a famous volleyball player. Is that weird? Did you think that when you read it? My other issue with Gabrielle is that we want the name to be a surprise. My entire family is convinced the name is Gabrielle so part of me wants to choose Olivia so it can be a true surprise...although I might like Gabrielle more.
Thoughts???

Name Question
I had no clue about the volleyball player. I love the name Olivia but I think Gabrielle Reese sounds prettier. You'll forget about the surprise years down the line, don't make your choice based on that.

Re: Name Question
I'm no help...I love both names I don't think you can go wrong with either. Love Reese as a middle name.

Re: Name Question
I'm partial to Olivia since it was on my favorites list. I have no idea who Gabrielle Reese is so I wouldn't worry about that.

I love that too but my dad already made it known that he hates it and while I don't care, I know it will bother me if I know people hate it. This is why we decided to keep it a "surprise" (aka we don't want your opinion!)

Name Question
I completely thought of the volleyball player and she is a model so she's def well known.
I'm not a fan of the Reese part.

Name Question
I think both names are gorgeous. I know who you're talking about, but I don't think she's too well known, and regardless, it's a positive association. She's an athlete, ya know? Not a reality tv chic.
You can't go wrong with either name but I do like Gabrielle a touch better. I adore the nickname Gabby. Don't worry about surprising them, make the choice for you!

Re: Name Question
Totally thought of the volleyball player, but I don't think that's a reason to not choose a name you love. It's not like she's a trash celebrity, she's an insanely talented athlete.
They're both pretty names, can't go wrong. Olivia is a bit too popular for me, I can think of 4 girls I know names Olivia between the ages of newborn and 4, so I'd personally go with Gabrielle
