New Cat - Question
Hi.... We just adopted a one year old cat (all black) from a wonderful shelter in NJ. Its my (and my family's first pet). She is micro-chipped.
I am buying her new id tags. Unfortunately since the tag is small all of the information cannot fit on one tag.
Should I get one tag with her name any our phone number on it and a second tag that says I am micro-chipped with the micro-chip number on it?
If I only need one chip what info should I put on it?
Thanks

Re: New Cat - Question
I would do one tag with Name and phone number... and get the collar that says "I am micro chipped".
I'd only do that cause the sound of two tags banging together would drive me NUTS!!

New Cat - Question
the info for the chip should be all your contact info, full name, address, all phone numbers plus a phone # as an emergency contact.

Re: New Cat - Question
I'm surprised the company didn't give you a separate tag- both my dogs have plastic tags with their microchip number and the company on them in addition to their regular tags. Can you do info on both sides? Either way, I think most places will always check for a microchip first and foremost anyway for a found animal.
