Where to buy tickets for sporting events?
So, hubby wants to go to the Mets game where they are retiring Mike Piazza's jersey. That game is already sold out on the Mets website. Any where else I can get tickets?
Thanks.

Stubhub but you will be paying an arm and a leg. and probably your first born. Plus the service fee is outrageous.

I just looked at StubHub, and holy crap!! $90 service charge for 2 tickets. If I can't find any other sites, I may just bit the bullet - it's DH's 40th.

Sometimes it's worth it. If you know of a season ticket holder you can try them, but that day will be highly unlikely.
Good luck!

I posted this on the thread asking about concert tix, but I think they sell tix for sporting goods too:
I recently bought concert tix on TickPick.com. Got a better deal than on StubHub plus no additional fees). I was a little nervous because I hadn't heard of it before, but I did some research and everything seemed legit. Didn't have any problems when we went to the show
