Returns from a registry
I am not a newlywed- but not sure where this post belongs. I got married almost 7 years ago, and I registered for a ton of crystal stemware that I no longer like. I have never used it- and it's paining me to look at it- it's like money sitting there that I could be using towards something else- or at least a really big credit towards something I like better. I don't know if records of my registry even exist, but where do you all think I would have the best chance of having success? Since you have been through this much more recently than I have, would definitely appreciate any help and suggestions...thank you!

Returns from a registry
where did you register for it? most major stores only keep registries for 1 year after the event date, so 7 years is a really big stretch. unless its something still currently sold in stores, i don't know if you would have much luck. Macy's/Bloomingdales requires those return label stickers on their products now to accept anything as a return, something that wasn't done 7 years ago.
Maybe Bed Bath & Beyond might take it back for credit? But i would call them first and see if they will take it back. You can always say you received the items as a gift and would like to return them for store credit.
