Pediatrician?
Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this site and I am expecting my 1st child. I'm looking into Pediatricians. Can anyone make any recommenations?

Another vote for Central LI Pediatrics. We've seen all the doctors but our favorites are the 2 males - Dr. Wolfson and Dr. Rubin. I've never had to wait for more than 5 minutes in the waiting room, they're great with getting in for emergency appointments, and have a separate waiting area for healthy and sick children.

Dr Grillo in Levittown. He was my pediatrician when I was little and he saved my sisters life during childbirth since my moms ob had no clue what he was doing. I take my son to him now and he's wonderful.

Pediatrician?
I bring my son to Dr. Accetta in Garden City and I love the practice for many reasons:
-The staff is so nice! You walk in and feel like their your old friends.
-The doctor and nurse practitioner both have a great bedside manner.
-They're open 7 days a week.
-They have a 'sick' waiting room and a 'healthy' waiting room.
-They only see vaccinated children which was a big thing for me.
-They have a 24 hour line you can call if your child is sick. That number came in very handy when my son was sick a few weeks ago!
